Welcome to the Kaduna State Social Investment Programme Agency (KADSIPA). Based at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, we coordinate and implement social investment programs to reduce poverty, empower communities, and improve lives across Kaduna State.

Sen. Uba Sani

Governor of Kaduna State

Senator Uba Sani is a Nigerian politician who is the Governor of Kaduna State whose tenure started in May 2023. He was previously the Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District from 2019 to 2023. He had also served as a Senior Special Assistant to President Olusegun Obasanjo, a Special Adviser to the Minister of the FCT on Political Affairs, and a Special Adviser on Political Affairs and Intergovernmental Relations to Governor Nasir El-Rufai.

Meet Our Executive Secretary

Alhaji Umar Sani Maikudi, Executive Secretary of KADSIPA, is a dedicated leader advancing Governor Uba Sani’s vision for poverty reduction and social equity in Kaduna State. Appointed to drive social investment initiatives, he oversees programs like the National Social Investment Programmes (NSIPs), impacting over 1.5 million beneficiaries since 2016. In 2025, he led the launch of a transformative Graduation Program set to empower 1,200 citizens through financial inclusion and self-employment, in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and J-PAL. Maikudi’s hands-on approach, seen in his monitoring of debit card distributions under the NASSP-SU program across Chikun and Kaduna North LGAs, ensures transparent and effective support for vulnerable households. His leadership fosters inclusive policies, as demonstrated at the 2025 Zaria workshop to review Kaduna’s Social Protection Policy with UNICEF and other stakeholders
